Over Queen's Night (Koninginnenacht) and into Queen's Day (Koninginnedag), the carnival atmosphere spreads; DJs play parties on public squares; live music spills onto streets from cafe patios and the gay-friendly strip Reguliersdwarsstraat erupts in street fiesta flamboyance.
