Random thought: August 27, 2010, Friday, 12:00 nn
Exact details of when i passed the board exam and became an official Registered Nurse! "ISANG TAON NA AKONG NURSE!!!" haha... I just can't believe that it was already a year ago. There is this flash back on my mind.
: Someone just told me na lumabas na daw yung result after a long wait. I went up my room and asked ate to look for it. I can't forget the feeling as she scrolled down to it and searched for my name. It was a nerve racking experience, mixed emotions.... para akong tinurukan ng EPINEPHRINE! Tachycardia, tachypnea, fight-or-flight response talaga of my sympathetic nervous system! parang constricted lahat ng veins ko sa katawan! haha!
:Habang naka tutok siya sa monitor I stayed in my bed curling up like a kid with my eyes closed and fingers crossed asking my sister "ATE! ANO NA? PUTANGINA! NAIIYAK NA KO!!!!"hahahaha
:And boom! She saw my name! 16526 GERONIMO, ROXANNE SANCHEZ
My sister and my mom were shouting and jumping for joy as I stayed in bed tulala at stuck up, hinihintay mag sink-in sakin na SHIT! TOTOO BA TO? NAKUHA KO NG ISANG TAKE?haha
: I easily cried thanking God for his greatest blessing. Halos mag mura talaga ko sa tuwa! haha. My mom ran quickly to the phone, called all our relatives and spread the good news (OA talaga ang mga nanay). While i ran to my dad saying "DADDY! NURSE NA KO! and he replied "O EDI MAGALING, KAYA PALA KAYO NAGWAWALA DYAN, AKALA KO NAG P-PLAY LANG KAYO NI MISSY" wahaha!
Oh well! this was just one of my most unforgettable experiences that I will surely treasure and laugh about everytime I will remember. 4 years of hardships, sleepless nights and restless days really paid off. I will forever be thankful for this wonderful blessing. Thank you Lord!
